Something you may like to keep in mind;
These directions are for the simplest version of a MamaRoo Baby Sling. The extra sewing of a pouch at the end of the sling is not included.
You will need 3 yards of
60 inch wide hemp/cotton muslin, (5.7 oz), or similiar 44 inch
wide fabric.
Lay one piece of the fabric on the floor with the hemmed side facing down, right side up. This is the first branch of the sling. Lay the second piece of fabric directly on top of the first piece, also with the hemmed side facing down, right side facing up. This is the second branch of the sling. Sew the bottom edge of the two pieces together making one 20 inch rough seam. Then flip the two pieces inside out and sew again to have a neat seam connecting the two branches. Measure 7 inches up from this seam and sew a straight line across the 20 inch width of the fabric making the threading pocket between the two branches. Finish off each of the two branches on the bottom edges so that you have no rough edges anywhere on the sling. Thread the branches through the threading pocket following the instructions at www.MamaRoo.com.
Thank you for your interest. I look forward to hearing from you about your baby wearing experiences with your MamaRoo Baby Sling! |
